Learning is the one path we are ALL on -whether we like it or not.

Learning

Attitude and Intention

Making Learning a good experience

For most people, learning has been an enforced activity.  Thus it may be difficult for them to have much 'ownership' over their learning.

Learning should be YOUR activity, not anyone elses.  It should be totally governed by your will, your intention, your curiosity, your desire and your goals.

Having it enforced by parents, teachers and the government can very easily destroy one's self determinism on the subject of learning.

Therefore, IF learning is YOUR activity it probably would have some healthy attitudes and practices.

I suggest that one of them would be to end a study period on a good point. Not a bad one such as "I don't know what this is about", "I'll take this up later", "That's enough".

 WHY?

   - Because that view will be the one you start with the next time you take it up.

Which would more likely give a good study period:   one that started with one of the above or one that started with eagerness, curiosity?   One should end his study period with an attitude such as "Gosh, that was good", "Ah, now I get it", "That makes total sense", "I got it", "Now I see how those parts fit together". The purpose of this site is to provide some tools to make that happen.

Real learning is yours. It always has been and it always will be. Enforced learning sucks.

But a thirsty horse or one dying of thirst will run to water and drink deep.

There is no defense against persistent good feeling toward, and acceptance of others.

There is a set number of mistakes, and we all make them sooner or later.
